ATW Gardin Lo-Pro
This listing is for Jerry and Jerry only, if you’re not Jerry then scram!
The 1st ATW project bike to be completed is ready for a new home.
The bike comes nearly complete and will only need pedals, a crankset and chainring.
I purchased the frame set from Chris Bishop and at the time it was powdered coated blue, with some flaking chrome on the fork.
The frame was sandblasted and painted by Travis Hess aka @tukipaintsit of Martinsburg, WV.
The fork was chrome plated by Nicks Polishing in Staten Island, NY while the Mavic 355 bullhorn bars and Cinelli Pista stem were mirror polished.
The headset is from Campagnolo along with the seat binder and seatpost.
The saddle is an Ultra Pro that I sent to Germany to be recovered with new black leather while retaining the patina on the backing plate.
A Phil Wood bottom bracket with Italian cups will remain installed.
A very lightly used Izumi Supertoughness chain will be included.
The wheel set are 700/650c 4 spoke carbon fiber made by Corima. Prior to installation the front was NOS. The quick release is threaded.
The rear wheel is dual sided for track and a freewheel and was previous used by a race team in great britain, there is some ghosting on the spokes from where the decals were removed. Wheel spacing is 120mm rear with 100mm front.
The tubular tires are taped on for easy removal.
The paint is chipped near the seat post binder and the lug for the seatpost. The rear tire has rubbed against the bridge on the bottom. Otherwise the paint and finish is in great shape.
Please allow approximately 1 week from purchase for the bike to be disassembled and boxed up. The wheels will be shipped separately and shipping will be billed once the actual price is determined.
